Goodbye 2017, Hello 2018!

2017 was a great year for S3 Boston. We added on more leagues than ever before and played in so many new parts of the city thanks to additional permits from the Boston Parks and Recreation Department!

S3 was able to grow a ton this year because the founder of S3 quit her full time job in January, 2018 to concentrate on growing and attending to all of the key details of the league.

With 2017 on the horizon we’ve been reflecting a lot on what to bring to 2018 and we really think it’s best to go back to the basics of S3. S3 was started as an alternative way for people to meet each other. The sports were, and always have been, secondary to the hope that you meet new friends. The original intention was this: you go out, play a sport, have enough fun that you forget that you just met these people, head to the bar, have an ice breaker of said sport to talk about, and end up keeping the good times going with new friends all night. And repeat. We saw this happen again and again throughout the years and want to find a way to remind you that by signing up for s3, you are signing up to not only play a sport, but more importantly, to meet some new best friends.

We’re confident 2018 will only be better! We hope to bring you new leagues, new events, happy hours, end of season parties and more fun in 2018. A Survey will be sent out to you at one point in the next month to see what is working, whats not working, and what you would like to see.

Thank you everyone for coming out, having fun, and meeting new people again and again.
